The Story Behind Waypoint
After a severe medical complication in high school, Isaac experienced first-hand the realities of schools unable to accommodate personalized needs. That experience shaped every career decision that followed.
Over the last four years, Isaac has worked with school systems across the country: developing a post-COVID learning recovery plan for Providence Public Schools, supporting the Texas Education Agency in implementing teacher training policies, and helping NYC Public Schools roll out a new reading curriculum across Brooklyn.
In every context, the same truth emerged: teachers are the linchpin of our education system, and when they aren't empowered, students suffer. Now, after a decade of working inside the system — from research to strategy to implementation — Isaac isn't just building software. He's building the tool he wished existed for the teachers who tried to help him.
